The Ocean Isle Museum Foundation’s Beer and Brats “Raise the Roof” fundraiser on November 29th will feature live music by Chicky’s Boy. New York singer songwriter John Cubito, also known as Chicky’s Boy, has released five compact discs of original songs on “A Chicky’s Boy Release,” his own music label. He has toured New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey for the past 20 years, both as a solo artist and with his band. He is now touring the Grand Strand of North Carolina and South Carolina as a solo performer. Chicky’s Boy plays a variety of good-time classic folk and rock music by artists such as Jimmy Buffett, Neil Young, The Beatles, and more.
The Beer and Brats fundraiser takes place at the Museum of Coastal Carolina on November 29 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. The Museum is located at 21 East Second Street in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children ages 3-12. Ages 2 and under are free. Tickets are on sale now at the Museum of Coastal Carolina, Ingram Planetarium, and Victoria’s Ragpatch (Ocean Isle location only). Tickets will also be sold at the door the night of the event. Proceeds from the fundraiser will help defray the cost of the new roof that was recently installed on Ingram Planetarium.
